The Challenge

Today’s youth are inheriting a world experiencing unprecedented environmental degradation and climate instability, brought on by generations of unsustainable practices and delayed action. Environmental destruction has reached a tipping point where natural systems are collapsing, threatening the stability of socio-economic conditions and the health of communities globally.

The youth of the Mediterranean region (MED-youth), in particular, face the challenge of leading transformations toward a more sustainable future amid this complex crisis. Existing political and economic structures have largely failed to address the urgent need for solutions, leaving younger generations with both the responsibility and the burden of reversing environmental harm.

The INNO-ANTIDOTE project recognizes this challenge and seeks to empower MED-youth to actively participate in environmental protection through entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Aim

INNO-ANTIDOTE project aims to equip young people in the MED region with the knowledge, skills and resources to drive sustainable innovation and lead in the battle against climate change. Through experiential learning and practical entrepreneurship education, the project fosters a new generation of young leaders who will create environmentally conscious startups and contribute to a circular economy.

By developing hands-on educational tools and building a network of mini-incubators, INNO-ANTIDOTE will help transform MED-youth into active agents for climate action. This project not only provides the skills and mentorship needed, but also inspires a sense of responsibility and urgency, empowering young people to take control of their future and contribute to environmental stability across land, air and water.

1. Hands-on Learning & Skill Building

2. Supportive Network of Mini-Incubators
